Hi there! We share common ideas and ideals about food. We both know the importance of quality and the desire for a stronger community. We think you're pretty cool, and hope the feeling becomes mutual!      

Who are we? We're a small group of individuals who live about an hour north of Kingston who bring together our combined experiences of being chefs, caterers, servers, food producers, and managers of other quality local companies. We are excited to take the step out on our own and try to become an important part of the local food community.

Why Popcorn? Our families were all out for a day of sledding a couple years ago and one of us brought some kettle corn to snack on. It was delicious! Almost a year later as we were forming a catering company we were trying to come up with something we could do to thank guests and get our business card in peoples hands without being pushy. We decided to start doing bags of that amazing popcorn we had while sledding. The idea just popped!

Our Corn is always Certified Sustainable, Local Plus Certified, Non-GMO, Foodland Ontario and straight from the family farm that grows it! We have personally visited the farm and have been building a really great relationship with them. We have selected all the other ingredients to be of the highest standard and also from Ontario. There is nothing in our popcorn that doesn't need to be there. Our motto at BKP is “Maximum flavour, minimal everything else!”
